The biggest Beach Handball national team competition in Europe will take place in four months time in Norway. Here are all the latest information about participants, groups and organisation.

Four months until 2009 Beach Handball ECh

The 2009 Beach Handball European Championship for Men and Women will take place on 23-28 June in Larvik, Norway.

The organisation of the event is well underway. The participating teams have already submitted their registration and the following 12+12 teams will take part:

Men: Croatia, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey and the Ukraine.

Women: Croatia, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey and the Ukraine.

The draw for the Beach Handball European Championship was carried out on 2 February in the EHF Headquarters, Vienna. The groups are the following:
